I know i am a shitty friend sometimes that gets too caught up in her own life, remembers your birthday on the wrong day and force my strong opinions on you but I know you are stressed out right now. never feel shy to call me, or to visit me, or to use as much as my time to help you through your difficult time. I’m writing this cause I am concerned about you and want you to know this ;)

I hope you read this soon dearie!

It was a bad past 3 weeks, looking bad at it, I couldn’t stand how I behaved.

Most of all, I just feel so embarrassed to be me right now.

Fool no more, this was a hard hard lesson for me, and I vow to rein myself in, and be the person I need to be right now.

Bottle Tree Park

Bottletree Park tree!Place Bottletree Park
Address 81 Lorong Chencharu (S)769198 in Yishun
Facilities Prawn fishing, paddle swans on pond, organic farms, restaurant, organic shop, fresh seafood shop

My say Hearing about paddle swans always gets me excited, but in this case, sadly disappointing in the fact everyone was prawn fishing and no one was swanning. Even though the prawn fishing is artifical, it was pretty fascinating to watch for about 20 min.

The parks’ theme is centered around a few bottleneck trees, as pictured. Nothing much to say there from me, i’m not much of a tree enthusiast.

spidey

Nearby, there’s an make shift organic shop setup in front of the farm, and sampling fresh organic produce from mister storeowner who boiled fresh aloe vera with sugar was a nice unexpected surprise from the park.
overview
In general, the place is a little dated. Nice to visit once to take a looksee at this little corner in yishun that I never knew existed. I kinda like the idea of the place, but not so much the place itself. But it has its charm, but I don’t think I will be going back any time soon. And that’s bottletree park in a nutshell. :)

The Age of Youtube

Great new weezer music video for “Pork and Beans” featuring some “stars” of youtube, I’m not a big youtuber, but this is typical weezer-isque tongue in cheek video. It’s an intriguing watch! Song’s very typical weezer, catchy but not a great song though.

Beware of the non-preggers on trains

Being the great wonderful person i am, i gave up my seat to a lady about my mom’s age, she took the seat, looked up at me, and quipped, “You know I’m not pregnant you know.”

In hindsight, to a person like that, i should have been really rude and told her i really thought she was pregnant and wrestled her for my seat back (I would have won. i think.). But my pride in not letting people around think that i’m stupid enough to think a woman her age would be pregnant, I smiled sweetly and said “of course I know you’re not pregnant!”

I was alighting at the next stop anyway, I’m not that wonderful or great.

i’m back!

jellybelly is safely archived somewhere on this new domain. I have to say, jellybelly was a pretty crappy blog name, randomly picked from my itune playlist of smashing pumpkins songs in my attempt to sound cool when I was 18. I’d like to believe that i’ve grown up, so I’m paying for my own domain now (again, many thanks to zhiwen for hosting me for free for years), aptly named gurged.com, really due to the lack of any creativity in coming up with something cooler.

I’ve trashed out a few other domains i could buy, and would be crazily impractical or not marketable in any way (sheeshkabab.com, chillax.com) I really wanted to buy sheeshkabarbeque.com by the way, but I would only justify that web address by opening a kebab bbq restaurant.

So welcome to gurged.com! may it be an opening to better writing, more frequent updates and perhaps a good place to share anything and everything with anyone who cares to visit. Hello!
